Am thinking long and hard about setting up a Maryland 529 College Investment Plan (not the Prepaid College Trust) for our newborn. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Have you run into any problems at all with the administrator or with pay out at all? Thoughts?

We do the one offered by CT through TIAA-CREF. Its seems to be doing ok just be careful to research their expenses. Just have to keep tabs on it and re-balance as needed. Also in CT we can deduct from our CT income tax.
