the only thing i'd want from the 1950's is high employment and the cars. and since i have a job the former doesnt matter and the latter i can still get.
no way in hell am i giving up cell phones, internet, HDTV, my current car, openly going anywhere and not being afraid of being lynched, air travel, the variety of cuisines available in big cities, breast implants for women, excedrin, optimum nutrition brand protein shakes, clothing and shoe options, sports, movies. 2012 >>> 1950.
