Few yrs. back IRS introduced a handy online tool to help you determine whether you need to prepare the long, drawn-out, pain-in-the-butt form 6251: Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). They called it the "AMT Assistant." So far as I can tell, all of their Pubs. and forms for 2013 are online except for the Assistant.

They last updated the page on 1/8/14. Maybe they just haven't gotten it together yet.
