My leftie elitist self is seriously hoping that Aldi's expansion plans include the northern Gulf Coast because I'd gladly walk amid the unwashed masses that shop there for the really good and insanely cheap German and Belgian chocolate they carry and a few other product overlaps they have with Trader Joe's, which is never going to make it to my unhip zip code.
