Yes we do, 15% on food 8% on transportation and 25% on the rest, so evrything is expensive here, and if we had used more of the oil money it would been even worse.

What does UK have to show for their way to handel their oil or cananda ?
I, as a brit, also agree with the way they handled their oil revenues. the future generation has come.. i believe the fund is big enough to keep growing without the oil funds.

Well Senetry 12, the fund is expected to grow for 30 more years. And its not big enough yet, it should become 3 times as big, but it gives us Norweagians an enormus freedom to change when the oil boom is over.

Somewhat serious question: I have an Public Administration (a/k/a government administration) degree from a good university here and a J.D. (graduate law degree). How hard would it be to immigrate?

Well if you are from EU you can come here and try to find work, Norway have round 200 000 foreign workers.

But well if you shell work in public administation you will have to learn Norweagian. We have very low unemployment 3,5% so when you learn the language it is quite easy to find work. So if you have a job, immigration should be easy. But well im not the right person to ask abaut that, there are some good blogs of how to survive with us crazy norweagians. It is not all sunshine, yes we are a good country to live in, but it has its challanges.

No, I'm in the United States . That said, language skills come fairly easily for me so I guess I can work on it in my spare time and see how it progresses for the next year or three.
