Why? They are set for life, and they want more money and if they lose $1, they go crazy. They try to find every coupon they can to go shopping.

On the other hand, middle-class citizens are perfectly happy. They go shopping, chat online, take vacations, host parties, drink, etc.

Why arent the billionaires happy? They dont take a vacation because $10,000 of the $50 billion they have.

Im not saying all billionaires arent happy. Bill Gates is happy, he has $76 billion and does a lot.

You are making way too many generalizations that have no real basis anywhere.

If a person writes about topics of which they know so little, the post doesn't make much sense.

How many billionaires do you know personally, and how do you know if they are happy or not?

Because no matter how much they spend trying to fix elections, people keep right on voting for the public interests, instead of the interests of the billionaires. It must be very frustrating to think you can rule the world, and then people do whatever they please.

This thread gets my vote for the most nonsensical thread of the week!

As others have mentioned; How many do you know? How do you know they are unhappy?

My guess is that, like many others, you think this way as a crutch/excuse for being unsuccessful. You'd rather be happy than rich right? Uh huh, go ahead and believe that...I've been wealthy and poor....I choose wealthy!

I was happy and sad at times during each....I can tell you that it's much easier to deal with sadness when you're wealthy!

I don't know any 'billionaires' nor any street people or homeless people for that matter. I have to think that 'billionaires" are just as happy or unhappy as the middle class spectrum. And how is it that one thinks/knows that the middle class is perfectly happy.

We are all just human beings with our own personal stories, some good, some bad, and some just plain boring and in between. Just my two cents...

Having money doesn't automatically alleviate you of all problems...but it does allow certain comforts when dealing with them.

I know that when I have more money my life is just as stressful as when I don't but it's about different things.

When I'm broke I stress about my car breaking down, getting ill, unexpected expenses in general...when I have money those things are a minor blip on the RADAR.
