To the optimists, what is your belief about what is happening?
We are all going to become rich and live forever? Population can expand to infinity, resources are infinite, America can bomb anybody without consequences? The Federal Reserve will save us all by creating more dollars?
All the peoples and religions of the world are going to live in peace and sing kumbaya?
How do you come to believe in these things, and if you don't, where is your evidence of a soft landing, that things will turn out alright?
People like myself have presented all the evidence in the world, it's up to your brain to put 2 and 2 together.
Nevermind the energy and food inflation, or the jobs that have moved out of the country, or closed down....You will need that tin foil to wrap yourself in to stay warm pretty soon.
Energy inflation? The jobs that have moved are mostly lower end so that's not a problem for me
Ahh yes it is, but its all short term debt which needs to be refinanced in a few years when the interest rates will be much higher due to an improving economy.
They are pushing the debt problems onto the next administration to deal with.
What makes you think rates will be "much higher" in the next few years?
What if those who fail to prepare are the ones foiled?
There are only a few who actually prep and the rest would find gold/silver useless so it will only matter if you can be resourceful, pool resources or obtain them through any means necessary
Folks, it is happening again...the American and global economy is collapsing, buried under the weight of debt and fraud.
Do you people understand that this is the endgame? This is it, the final bubble, after this things begin to fall apart.
I strongly urge anybody with ears to prepare in any way they can. You don't have to do it all, but any bit to increase resilience will help.
Do you think when the economic and political system begins to collapse, that it can be saved? Do you think there are Martians who are going to bail us out this time?
Our civilization has gone haywire, and we all face a steep price to pay. I ask that you consider, there are those of us who were brave enough to speak out about this. Think of us when this sucker goes down. And don't scapegoat the messenger.
Did some politician flap his gums a few years back in an attempt to tell us the depression was over? It was a lie and was done merely to appease his adoring sycophants.
PC, global warming, going green, sustainability, domestic violence, war on women, racism and gun control are apparently of more import to the citizens of this nation. Ridicule speaks volumes.
No, there will not. The emergence of new markets and access to new markets are not the same thing.
New markets will emerge ONLY where people have access to them. Emergence but no access is functionally impossible. There won't be a new market in a place where there is no market need. Market makers don't set up shop in the North Pole to sell air conditioners. They know there is no market. Likewise, they will not set up markets in hot places where people have no money or no desire for air conditioners. But there will always be SOMEPLACE where people have money and needs for SOMETHING.
2018 apparently but our economy is dependent on the fact that the majority in Ths US are ignorant in regards to it. It seems people on this board are not aware that The Federal Reserve has been creating an unprecedented amount of money since 2009-TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS- in order to push all investing into the stock market via quantitive easing. During this time of unprecedented wealth creation 95% of all the made up money went to 1% of the population WHILE 90% OF AMERICANS HAVE GOTTEN POORER. Either most on this board are completely ignorant or they are just not saying anything because our financial system is not meant to be inclusive, and they know this.
Nobody knows exactly how this will all turn out and yes there are aspects of our financial system that are fradulent. I can never figure out why most people only wish to ignore and conceal it only asking "derp I needs more evidence derp give me more derivatives derp".
There are even members from Fed branches themselves now speaking out on the treasonous quantitive easing, so the civilian cheerleaders seem to be especially out of the loop.
Nobody is saying to stop living your life, but at least be knowledgeable and prepared or your only emotion available to you when crunch time comes will be fear.
What makes you think rates will be "much higher" in the next few years?
Interest rates compete world wide, not just in the USA.. it doesnt have to be "in the next few years".... Let interest rates climb up to 10% ANY TIME in the future, (and they will, because they ALWAYS fluctuate), and we'll be facing trillions of dollars a year in interest payments ONLY which of course we can not substain.
