I wouldn't be very happy if I were interviewing and the applicant spewed sick germs all over me and gave me a cold or the flu.

The ideal thing to do is do the interview on schedeule. Load up on Day-Quil/OTC stuff and if you have a really bad cough, go to your doctor and get prescribed some stronger stuff.
