The US$ has been overvalued for decades, precisely to force a trade deficit and fuel globalization. It has sucked for pretty much everyone in the US except for those global corporations.

This debt-fueled globalization project was tapped out in 2008, which is why there was a global crisis, but no one wants to face the obvious... so we are still stumbling down the same road. Piling on more debt and sucking more wealth out of the US consumer to keep this charade going.

Devaluing the US$ would be great for the US public, but the globalists don't want that now anymore than they did 30 years ago.

There was a global crisis because greedy US cowboy capitalists managed to pollute global credit markets with worthless paper. The rest of this babble is pure imagined nonsense.

Just the facts, MB. I can support every one of my assertions quite easily and have.

You however do not like to engage anyone on a factual basis. Why is that?

The Fed isn't going to have to devalue the dollar. When the Chinese get the yuan as a world reserve currency this fall the dollar will free fall on its own.

Because it has proven to be such a complete waste of time in so many cases. It is of course not at all my responsibility to correct all of the foolish misunderstanding and completely botched beliefs that others have so errantly arrived at. I can often explain the facts and reason that underlie reality, but people with any sense at all still recognize that it is their own responsibility to separate the wheat from the chaff in their own beliefs. Some make no sort of effort at that at all. The Lord helps those who help themselves. I don't see why I should be any different.

There are half a dozen reserve currencies already. China's isn't close to qualifying as one.

Honestly i think it's time for yuan to be a reserve currency.

Chinese will have to play by rules.

And there is practically nothing for US to stop that.

In a decade they are challenging US with money they got from it

Fate is not without the sense of irony.
