Should Yellen raise interest rates in September? (financial, recession, housing)

It does not matter. The economy is being propped up but the ultimate plan is to let it fall. Increasing interest rates will probably be the trigger.

Yes she should raise interest rates. Housing prices are climbing way too fast, and if that continues it could lead to another bubble scenario.

Agreed. What's up with the doom and gloom? The economy has been performing well over the past year (minus a slight dip in Q1, which was revised upward). Some people find negatives in everything.
I do think that it's time to raise interest rates. When the next recession comes (which it will, these things are cyclical), the fed will be completely out of bullets if interest rates remain near zero.
