A sunk boat is underwater even at low tide... it won't matter how much more the tide raises or not

if your boat is sunk, you should have known it was sinking as it was going down and done something about it then, not wait until it is at the bottom before complaining

if someone is poor when they retire, they were poor for the past 65 years as well... they should be used to being poor

It allows gov't to raise taxes to support the dead-beats you spoke of.

That's if it doesn't motivate them to go out and earn their own way.

It builds light rail transportation to allow low wagers to work in the city and live further out where it's cheaper.

not here they wouldn't . we had to live in a nyc housing project to get by . my dad worked for the post office too .

not quite . my mom had a heart attack giving birth to my sister when we were kids and medical bills were a constant plague for life , even with insurance . but even putting that a side nyc is costly

Inflation adjusted houses were 10x+ cheaper so a monkey could have afforded property. It's like me claiming the house I will inherit was earned.
