Been searching for ways to generate some side income and from the found options cash reward apps seemed like the easiest.

I've been a fan of Ibotta as well, but they just recently switched their "anything" receipt to $.10 from $.25

I don't like that.

You always get benefits from cooperating with the data miners.

I dont use thrm.
I dont buy much. Except food and household consumables.
And im not about to hefty shipping costs to have food delivered to my door, which msy happen while im out.

No, ill spend a few gas dollars to the local stores a mere 5 minutes away.

I signed up for ebates, but IF i do buy anything online, i forget its there and just order from Amazon.

Those sites are great perhaps if one is a shopaholic or have a growing family. Neither of which apply to me.

I also assume you are paying more just to get a refund.
We all know there is no free lunch.

So i probably pay more for the few things i buy, just so those two types above can get a cash back discount.

Although, if cash back sites are the new "coupon" shopping, its good, i guess.

I just bought some Christmas presents ( yes early shopping) on WISH, at prices soooo cheap, i doubt Wish is a cash back site.

Good luck. If you shop a lot.....

I used to do the same thing and then I discovered that Ebates has a "button" add-on that you can put on your computer and when you go to a website that they are affiliated with the button starts to flash and there is a pop up reminder to use them. I love Ebates. I just had to buy a new laptop and I get emails from Dell with super specials. Not only did I find a great one day deal on a new laptop, but I'm getting an extra $72 back from Ebates. My husband also likes his magazines and they ones he gets are specialized and not cheap. I wait until Ebates had a super special of at least 45% cash back at Magazines.com and renew his and the few that I get.

I use Ebates. I've received $140 since May. It's shopping and travel I do anyway. I use the in-store pickup and 10% travel discount on Thursdays. Ebates along with credit card cash back and discount codes save me a lot.
