My opinion is not popular.. I'm the one who thinks all aftermarket exhausts that raise the volume level of a vehicle should be banned, and running a vehicle without a catalytic converter should be illegal, and all motorcycles should be required to have them. There's too much noise and olfactory pollution from the small number of people who do this stuff.

Younger people know that.

Harley doesn't even try to compete in the performance area after getting smashed by foreign bikes years ago.

Harley's followers are there just for the noise or nostalgia.

Closing a US plant, opening one in Thailand! Who is going to buy a Harley made in Thailand?
The people buying Harleys... the Chinese.

Also puts them in a better position to be able to compete on the cheaper models that might sell to the younger generation who aren't buying $25,000 Electra Glides. The Street 500/750 aren't exactly good value. If they could shave a grand off the price, that'd help.

Harley kind of saturated the market. I'd love to see some of the old custom looks come back.

Might as well buy a Goldwing.

Motorcycle business these days is very bad, and HD is sufferi g also. They'll continue to suffer and decline, and eventually fold. It has nothing to do with the tax cut.
