Around 1989 (maybe early 1990's), the PBS station during their fundraising drive would run a special (maybe multiple specials) by an economist who was a strong proponent of global trade. I think the name was Jim Peters but seemingly wrong since I can't find it on google. It was a white middle aged guy, neither fat nor slim. He stood on some sort of stage in darkened hall with mic in hand before a live audience.
I am looking for the guy's name, video links if you have them.

Thank you, but unfortunately not. It was less academic and maybe less free trade issue oriented and more business oriented. I think the guy was living in Vermont and put out some books.
