Here's my tip: the mighty fall of China. The Chinese economy is ready to go the way of Japan in the early 1990s. A mega banking crisis along the popping of the great fixed asset and RE market bubbles.

America proving to the world why our economy is the most valuable, reliable, and most resilient of all. While the rest of the world's markets sink, America will stagnate at worst. Our system is a reliable, well oiled machine that has passed countless tests and assaults, but still the motor of America hums. You can't knock us down. The harder you try, the stronger we become.

No way. Although IMO they will not grow as quickly as they turn their economy away from massive industrial, infrastructure and exports and more toward their people as consumers. This they will have to do to progress towards first world. And they will as they pass the USA in output and catch up on income, standards of living and social structure and supports.

As far as Yuan based debt, China with its secretive central command can much more easily neutralize over hanging and bad debt than say the USA with our more open economy and politically driven money creation processes.

Somewhere a bald eagle just screeched and a tear just rolled down lady liberty’s cheek.

I think this year will have a lot of mega mergers and acquisitions because of the tax reform. Repatriation of foreign earnings has left the big companies with huge war chests to consolidate their industries.
