The ramifications for this are obviously looming. Factoring in automation, outsourcing, student loans, unaffordable housing, volatile commodities, gender wars and the million other issues that this country has, we are on the brink here.

However, as mentioned here: https://youtu.be/gWc-102Fy4c The single biggest issue looming is that the concentration of underemployed young bachelors is the single biggest indicator of societal collapse. I can envision a Junta style military takeover (the majority of young recruits today are from economic backgrounds where it's impossible to succeed) happening if something drastic is not done soon. It's known that guns and force will be necessary so of course in the country with the most arms, the revolt would always have to originate from within the system.

The collective anger of young Men will soon rise in ALL developed 1st world countries which will destabilize everything. Now that Millennials have seen that both sides of the spectrum cannot be trusted (Both Trump and Obama lied) I suppose it's up to Gen Z on what they want to do. Or has the pesticides in food and drugs in the water lowered their Androgen levels to the point of where they will do nothing?

Eventually this socioeconomic demographic crisis will cause problems for us all and it puts my job at risk. Whatever company I am with will be fighting for a shrinking pie of discretionary income. This will ultimately lead to a contraction of the economy.

The fed is raising rates all while ignoring clear signs WE ARE NOT HOME FREE....But we are actually HOME BOUND AND UNABLE TO MOVE FREELY....

(There's a big difference!)
I can’t tell when you are serious and when you are joking. If I read your post literally, you are advocating a violent overthrow of the system as a solution to rather trivial “ problems” such as young men needing to live with parents, a spouse, or roommates.

I can 100% guarantee that a violent overthrow would make these matters much, much worse in addition to the immorality of such methods and massive loss of life.

I'm glad you asked because there are so many examples I am just going to provide you with a handful of them. For starters, there is this little thing called Affirmative Action. And then a simple search for "hiring quotas"yields the following recent stories about.......hiring quotas! Truth is they are all over.

Quota example #1

Quota example #2

Quota example #3

Quota example #4

Quota example #5

Would you like me to keep going?

Are you joking? Where is your hard proof that those companies are still dominated by white workers? The tech industries are dominated by Indians and Eastern Asians. Uber, I have seen mostly Hispanics, Indians, Arabs and Blacks driving. Disney has fired all of their American workers that are not "performers", (most of these people are white) and replaced them with cheaper H1-Visa holders, and the majority of them are Hispanic. I live in Florida, where the grocery store chain, Publix, is quietly firing all of their white American workers and hiring immigrant workers in their place (mostly Haitians) Hell, on my local news station, I haven't seen one new white male reporter or weather person being hired, mostly it's been women in skimpy clothing, or non white males. The white men who are still on the air were hired before diversity became a thing. Heck, I haven't seen any new white males on the school boards in Florida or in teaching positions. But yet, I bet you it's mostly white males who are footing the bills for these public schools.

nothing is going to collapse, no system reset, etc....might have a bit more socialism like universal basic income to give out to everyone

so long as there is Mcdonald's, Iphones, and Dancing with the stars - life will go on.

You all are skirting the issue here.... Let me hit the nail on the head.

Millennials and primarily Millennial boys are the softest generation of nothings in the history of all document generations. They grew up with participation trophies and blue ribbons for every achievement. Their parents coddled them and worried about everything to make them “happy”. They never had any chores, jobs, bills, or responsibilities. Spending all day smoking weed, playing xbox, jerking off, and living in their parents basements.

We have an entire generation of “ 0’s” that provide no benefit to society and consume from our economy like the bottom feeder fish swimming along side the sharks.

Now they are adults and feel entitled to a certain lifestyle while having to give little in return. They cannot process their feelings or emotions so turn to weapons and violence as reaction to the poor hand the have been dealt.

They have not skills
They have no work ethic
They are in their 30’s but the mental maturity of a teen

That’s funny. I never got blue ribbons or participation trophies.

The 'participation trophy' trope commonly used to describe Millennials, is foreign to me also.

The constant whining about white males being under attack in the employment world and loosing out due to affirmative action and whatever else sound bite of the day that is used to indicate the 'great oppression' they now face, doesn't line up with actual statistics. They sound just like the SJW crowd they claim to hate. My eyes glaze over when I read about this great oppression that's causing them harm to the benefit of everyone else. Here are the current employment numbers from the BLS.

https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cpseea04.htm

From the the link:

Unemployment rates for workers 20yrs and older by race and ethnicity with the exception of Asians who are grouped together as of March 2019 -

White
Males - 3.1%
Females - 3.0%

Black
Males - 6.9%
Females - 5.2%

Latino
Males - 4.1%
Females - 4.4%

Asian - 3.1%

Based on the data, despite the current narrative, white male employment rates are lowest with the exception of white females. On the other hand, the black male unemployment rates have be trending up since Dec.18' with a slight dip in Mar. 19'. I would say a black male, statistically has the hardest time in our current market based on actual statistics.

You linked wrong article.

share of americans living with parents

It is an old topic. US culture is changing since most in the age group are now foreign-born or 2nd generation. Multi-generational households is often the norm overseas. It is also a side-effect of not allowing the housing market to adjust naturally by propping up prices, removing supply, and keeping interest rates artificially low at an extreme. As in the other thread on the US economy, housing was more affordable in the 90's as they allowed the foreclosures to clear through the market and rates to rise.
