That might apply where *you* live, but certainly not here in NYC. There are dozens if not scores of other "homeless" just like guy interviewed.

Much as to do with resources available, and happily for those choosing such a lifestyle (and or forced into it), the city offers an array.

Totally agreed. It’s like once you’re in that’s spot, very hard to get out of it! For the reasons you mentioned.
