I have noticed that within the past 2 weeks and just frequently
as heck right now that I cannot access the Bank of America.com
site that I always do my online banking on. It is getting to the
point that it rarely loads. Something on their end, for sure but
no way that I can see right now to report.
Was not sure what section to post in but Economics. I just
wonder if and what is going on with Bank of America? I never
had these issues trying to long on before. I use my laptop to
do so, not a phone at all.
I was out of town a year ago and lost my debit card around 6:00 pm. Called the 1-800 number to report my card lost or stolen and waited an hour+ before i decided “to heck with it” and hung up. Call center is about worthless unless you are trying to open a new account. I have had no issues with their online banking portal though.
There is an option to report this on their app or website.

Are you closing the browser after you log out? Are you using an app or charm ( my HP calls them charms).
Here’s what I know. I use the Citibank app on my phone and even if I log out, which I always do, if that window stays open the next time I try to access Citibank it tells me there’s errors and they can’t do it. The app has to be not only logged out but that window needs to be closed.
I had no idea how to do that, until the guy on Southwest Airlines sat next to me, an off duty flight attendant. I was having problems with my phone, he grabbed it and said “oh you’re one of those” and showed me how to close all the windows. Now, there’s a benefit to keeping them open, but there is also wisdom in closing them.
So, if I am correct in remembering, because I don’t use my laptop all that much anymore I do everything on my phone. If you do a restart or a close down I think that will close all the applications that you’re running. Whereas if you simply put it to sleep I don’t think that does that. So that’s what I would do first. Just shut it off for a couple of minutes.
And if I’m wrong, I don’t think it’ll hurt it either.
