They're adorable out there. West Texas can't help itself to not overproduce and no one made them take all that money. The WildCatter mindset and prudence have never gone hand in hand.

It's human nature to produce all one can in good times....farming, oil whatever.


At least the big independents and the majors are taking a much more cautious approach this time, so far anyway.


For little guys like me it's a big opportunity.........a few of the old line big money West Texas families are all in.


I traveled to TPB four times in June and I'm going back Tuesday dark early to stay for a couple of weeks. It's an interesting time.
