I have, and within the last couple of years. I sill see $1.49/# chicken thighs/legs a fair amount.

I would not know as I do not buy drumsticks
You can only compare same.

You need to find another store to shop in if spaghetti and chicken is the same price.

Where I live:

Sam's Club - Chicken drumsticks $0.92 per pound, spaghetti $0.78 per pound.

King Soopers - Chicken drumsticks $1.29 per pound, spaghetti $1.00 per pound.

Safeway - Chicken drumsticks $2.29 per pound, spaghetti $1.00 per pound.

Now I want some Korean style drumsticks for dinner.

the problem is all of the spaghetti in a lb is edible . the lb of chicken legs is mostly bone so to get a lb of edible chicken legs is going to cost way more

True.

And this is pretty much a worthless thread.

Milk is regulated price wise. They have a complicated formula to determine what it will cost in each state. Gas would be much cheaper if not for the "VAT" put on it

I don't buy chicken drumsticks so will use boneless/skinless chicken breasts as the comparator.

Where I live - all prices per pound and are regular everyday prices (not sales):

Harris Teeter - Spaghetti ($0.99 (generic)/$1.69 (Mueller's) - Boneless/Skinless chicken breasts (at butcher) - $1.99

Lidl - Spaghetti ($0.85 (Lidl brand)) - Boneless/Skinless chicken breasts - $1.99 (Sanderson Farms)

Lowes Foods: Spaghetti ($1.50 (generic)/$1.79 (Barilla) - Boneless/Skinless chicken breasts (at butcher) - $6.99

Needless to say, most chicken is purchased at HT/Lidl.

Albertson's has bone in skin on chicken breasts for 99 cents/lb this week. The groceries here often have thighs and leg/thigh combos for around 70 cents/lb.
