GM: The collapse of the U.S.-based auto industry wouldn't just impact the more than 239,000 Americans directly employed by the Big Three. One out of every 10 people in America is employed in a service that is related to the U.S. auto industry. If a plant closes, so does its suppliers, the local stores, the hot dog vendors, and the local restaurants.

propaganda. Pure and simple. Just think, GM and the automakers are running these ads as if they weren't bankrupt. It is that kind of wasteful spending and mismanagement of resources that got GM into trouble in the first place. LET IT COLLAPSE.

This makes me even more steadfast against it. I saw Wagoner on TV crying about the "banking crisis" destroying his business as if the banking crisis started 30 years when his beloved company started declining. More waste of resources. He should be working on cost reductions and not making commercials. This company has destroyed more shareholder wealth than Jerry Yang
