Just heard this. After filing bankruptcy and closing SOME stores they are now closing ALL of their stores after failing to find a buyer.

I hate when we don't have good competition in some areas. It really causes the customer service at the store(s) remaining to fall off the map.
I agree. I bought my son a laptop at CC last year because Best Buy's customer service was absolutely horrible. CC was helpful and accommodating. I will miss them, and this will likely make BB even MORE obnoxious and smug.
I've bought a lot of electronics in recent years but haven't been in an electronics store in years. I can beat the prices on Newegg.com and mwave.com and others, I shop for free shipping offers and I can also avoid the 9.5% Tennessee sales tax.
Why waste time and money on gas driving from store to store when I can shop on the computer?

I'm a former employee and while i'm sad for my former co-workers who will lose their jobs, I knew this day was coming. CCs total mismanagement caused its death.
No doubt. They built a brand new store near me that never even opened. The new building is just sitting there.
