Sooooo hmmmm you think I payed more taxes in 2007 or 2008?

There are people on this board who think loosing your job was a good thing for the economy. They will even say you lived beyond your means if you say you are going through hard economic times and can't pay your bills. What they will not admit is that $60k is not alota big salary in today’s market. Things are bad all over friend and it's not getting better for a lot of people.

I am one of those persons who went back to college after I saw banking beginning to falter. The government told us education and the medical field will be expanding with new jobs. Well I have my education degree and no one is hiring. In fact my friend just lost her job as an elementary teacher. I should have been a grave digger because this economy is going to kill the citizens of this country.

Of course they are ;what do you expect when the 50% of people that pay income tax in this country are not making as much or have loss their jobs.Of course evry business field is shrinking at least some and hiring is on hold. You just graduated at the wrong time but it will pay offf in teh future as long as universal healthcare does make them begin to cut even more .But if i were to guess health issues are not going to chnage much. But its likely that like all countries with national health less epole wil go onto become doctors because of time ;expense verus reward. that will mean like these countries more nurse or what they call nurse practioners will see most patients. That could mean a define risk in nurses being needed.
