For the same reason that the electric infrastructure in the north east is falling apart. No one wants to pay for it and no one wants it in their back yard. The Eco warriors are all for renewable energy in someone else's yard.

I think the tensions with North Korea is far more serious and could have a negative impact on the stock markets if the escalation increases even more. It seems to be gradually worsening every week.

I don't because the presidency there is really a token position really witht eh rulers being the clergy from the revolution.Watching TV the big demopnstrtions wre in support of the elction whcih also means little because its more or less who turns out their base by tranporting and feeding many from ural areas its is reproted. Nothig has change to effect anyhting really in the markets.News out of North Korea will have some effect; but the weak UN resolution keeps thngs pretty much the same.
