For one group of central Pennsylvania eighth-graders, a recent field trip to Baltimore included lunch at Hooters _ a restaurant better known for its busty waitresses than its food.
Go back to the source story. The story is No one complained. I'm Sure my 8th grade son would have found it cool to go there. Probably talk more about that then the Aquarium.
Note to self, take Son & his friends to Hooters for lunch today. But I agree the food there is not very good, past the burgers and wings.
I guess that's the key - none of the parents/students complaining.
Here, the kids watch Christmas videos (Christmas, involving the birth of Jesus) and read stories relating to the resurrection at Easter. None of our parents/students complained.
There, children eat at restaurants where scantily clad women get paid to show off their T and A. *shrug* Different areas have different values.

Yep. Public Schools once again doing their best to educate our children.
(Guess it all depends on what you want tax dollars being spent teaching our kids about. )

A good percentage of Hooters customers are probably Christian. I'm not sure I get your point. Nobody is naked or even in their underwear. And despite the reputation, the girls don't all have big hooters either. VALUES? lol.
Have any of you been there recently? They lost a major lawsuit wherein they now have to hire anyone who applies. This means ladies with normal body shapes and even guys. Hooters isn't much different than Appleby's or Texas Roadhouse now.
