So I'm going into my junior year of high school I have a 4.0 GPA And I'll be doing 3-5 extra curricular activites this year. What do you think of my schedule and he classes if you have taken any. I am in NYS so the core classes are all regents classes.
English 11 Honors
AP US History
Physics
Physics lab
Algebra 2/ trig
Gym
Childhood development
Early childhood education
Creative writing
Psychology
Sociology.
You should be fine. The psychology and child development classes will overlap some, and have some common units of study, which could be beneficial (one teaches theory, the other the application of the theory).
I would suggest looking into an internship or volunteer program as well, even if it's only a few hours a week or month. Library, day care or after school programs, local hospital etc. A solid academic program is enhanced by someone who also "gives back" to the community.
