the 1st and only time my daughter had a visit at home from any of her teachers, I told the teacher she was not needed or wanted at our home, and to vacate herself from our land or get arrested for trespassing.

teaching our child at our home is the responsibility of my daughters mother and myself, not the teachers.

I sent my original post in an email to the Executive Director of the The Parent / Teacher Home Visit Project and here is her response:

.. thank you for your email and your feedback. I am concerned that the home visit you experienced this am is not in keeping with our model so I would be grateful if you could share more information with me about the school your child attends, etc. Our home visits are ALWAYS voluntary for families and should be focused on building connection and positive plans for students- not fear or intrusions into family life. Please feel free to contact me anytime on my cell phone below.

So, why are you complaining?

They clearly state you agreed and it was voluntary on your part.... Or was it???

The reply e-mail wasn't as truthful as it led on to be, ehh?

I'm sure you have replied the same way back to them, that "it was not as voluntary as they imply".
