So I've found three websites that list various apps for those who want to learn the Spanish language. Here are the links:
If you'll take a few minutes and browse through those websites, could you tell me, from what you know, which apps would be the best in terms of overall quality and worth paying for? Thank you.

Have you looked into Mango? It requires a subscription, but a lot of public libraries give free subscriptions to patrons. The app is free. If your library does not offer it, find another county that has it, they usually will give you a library card for a fee.

Agree with the above poster. I have the mango iPhone app - attached to my home library card - and it works well.

Exactly what I was going to suggest - Mango! I happen to be a public librarian, and we offer it free to all of our patrons... you have to register through our website (using your library card number), but once they give you a username/password, you can download the app for free. I've been using it to practice my Spanish, and it's a great program.

The language center at my college does offer Mango.

Wouldn't it cost to use if I were to use it at home?

Best iPhone app?

Google Maps.

Type in: East LA directions.

It's free.

Based on that if the language center provides me one, I would assume?

Our local library (which is mainly funded by local taxpayers) has a paid subscription to Mango which is why they can offer it to the community. It's free to get a library card and just about all libraries have a website - you can see easily enough if they offer a mango subscription.

Here's the mango home page: Mango Languages | Learn a Language, Learn Spanish, Learn Chinese Fast. You can try it out for free.
