Your daughter is probably around alot WORSE then a pregnant girl at school.
Drug dealers, People who use drugs, people who have sex, people who grope students, people who are in gangs, people who skip school, people with eating disorders.

No it is not contagious lol, but I do prefer that my child does not socialize with pregnant teenagers or see this in her school. I come from NYC and that is all you see, but best believe that the girls is not housed in regulazr school districts for their safety. I am trying to teach her abstinence and sfer sex. I do not want her to think that yes this is ok and that you can still go to your same school with no problem. If this is how it is here ok no problem, I will still continue to educate my children. Yes, it is good that they can continue their education.

Teenage pregnancies have been around FOREVER. It will never go away.
Not sure why you wouldn't want your child socializing with a particular student, just because they made a bad decision. If anything YOU should want her to ask question's to this student, so when they tell her how HARD it is to be pregnant and go to school, that would discourage her even more from having sex.

Oh my. You really think these girls need to be sent away? It won't solve the problem. they need support to keep in school. Not treated like leapers or "punished" anymore then what life is already going to hand them.

That is still probably less then 1% of the student population.
Believe me, I wish girls made better choices, and the teen pregnancy rate has gone down in recent years...but there have ALWAYS been pregnant teens....hiding them from society won't stop the problem.
Education will....however, you want to put another hoop they want to jump through in their way.....that is nto what these girls need.
Educate your daughter. It won't harm her to see how rough these girls have it.

I agree with above posters these pregnant kids are your childs best lesson in what not to do. They can talk with these kids and see if they are happy, what sacrifices they are making, how they are probably working to save up for this kid, doing school work, maybe sacrifice college. Your child could learn some of them probably was kicked out of the home, the dad doesnt want nothing to do with it or take responsibility. Your kid going to face other pressing issues
Home schooling is your best option.

Talk to the principal and the guidance counselor of the school and tell them you think this is a issue suggest to them to get some community speaker to talk to the student body about the cons of having sex at such young age.
Ask them to offer more education pamplets and books available to educate the children.
Only a community can make a difference.
Look at smoking I am so amazed how society has changed it views on this subject and it reflecting to our childrent that it is nasty dangerous habit.
We all can make a difference dont react against something find a proactive solution.
