Gotcha. But, you know, they really can't MAKE someone take the ACT. My school pays for and administers the PSAT to all 10th and 11th grade students -- but there are always a handful who opt out or otherwise simply refuse to take it. Whaddya gonna do?
It still begs the question: what's the purpose of taking the test? If it's for college reporting purposes, then apply for whatever accommodations are allowed and use them. If it's just for the sake of taking a test, then go ahead and use the accommodations the district provides.
