I work for a small newspaper and we are working on our graduation edition. My co-worker and I were discussing senior superlatives (Most Likely to Succeed, Most Athletic, etc.) and I was just curious what different high schools around the country include in this list. I'd be interested to know what the schools in your area include, especially different or interesting ones. We were pretty bored with the ones the local high school includes here.

Why not research old yearbooks from 20 - 30 years ago and find out whether the people in your town with the senior superlatives actually achieved them?

Are you preparing something for a high school paper? I would stay away from things that would be included in a high school year book.

What about highlighting outstanding students.
Students who have overcome obstacles?
Students who have done something notable that benefited the community or the school?
Any student that was a particularly outstanding athlete? A student athlete who succeeded despite facing obstacles?

I am not in high school an I am not doing research for anything. I was just curious about what types of senior superlatives schools across the country include in their yearbooks because the ones included at the local high school where I live are lame. I just simply want to know if other schools have interesting ones.
