Okay, I am finished shaking my head on this one.....UNbelievable!

Jimmy, if there are 25 different math books and 109,000 mistakes evenly distributed among them, how many mistakes does each book have?

Thumbs down Scary

WoW! That is really scary and disappointing! Are you really sure? Is that for the entire school? Ya know what I mean? Is it the grade school or junior high or the high school level do you know? Are they the ones who caught it or who, do you know? Is it being corrected? WoW that is just not right. Sorry to hear that. Maybe we should check all of our childrens' school books. Thanks for the info.

Why is this the school's fault? At least they caught them. The schools don't write the books--blame it on the publisher.

From the article:

"One second-grade math book, for example, has 4 plus 7 equaling 10, the San Antonio Express-News reported Friday.

Many of the errors, spread out over 164 textbooks and online materials, are blamed on faulty translation from English to Spanish. "

4 + 7 = 10 in Spanish?
