I think it's a great idea that cannot easily be replicated. My understanding is that these are tiny high schools with less than 250 students who are hand picked.
We put men on the moon with rote learning, sitting in desks, memorizing, and slide rules.
We keep chasing the wrong side of the problem. It is not the schools it is the parents and students.
