In a week's time, no, it would be impossible. I live 700 miles away from where I attended high school. I've gone to all of the reunions, every 5 years, and we had a special one when in the year we all turned 60. Each one has been fun, and I've reconnected with many former childhood, neighborhood and classmates. Unfortunately, we've lost many classmates as well~

Ours are always planned far enough in advance (the primary ones who seem to attend are also from out of state) so it's easy to coordinate around a vacation or other activities. There were over 700 in my class, so there are lots of memories! I had a very positive high school experience, for which I am grateful.

From high school I went to college 750 miles away, and then moved back home to start my career after having been away for 4 years. I don't get to many of my college reunions because I could never take off to go back to them (inconvenient time of year for a teacher to be out of the classroom). I stay in touch with former roommates, but have no real allegiance or "ties" to my college classmates. I'm guessing I'm one of the "childhood friends for life" club members.

No interest.

I keep in close contact with my old high school friends... I have no interest in anyone else from high school.

Facebook completely invalidates any need for "reunions".

Default if you were invited to a school reunion party , would you go?

I'm 1400 miles from my old hometown. I haven't made it to any of the class reunions so far, but hope to in the not so distant future.

I went to a bigger high school. It seems the alumni association and reunions have been pretty much outsourced to private companies that do it for profit. Reunions are kind of expensive and seem like more of a business venture to me, so it is kind of a turn off. I really noticed it when some of the solicitation materials for my high school were almost exactly the same as my college half way across the country.

It would honestly depend on the timing. It's not something I'm burning to do, but I am not vehemently opposed either.

Nearly 50 years ago with everyone approaching 70? I don't think so.

The oldest friend I have is John and we've been friends since 1961 which is what... 54 years ago? We've kept in touch all these years and we're gonna meet up in California when I visit family in December.
