Is it worth it to move my wife and myself to a university so I can pursue a masters in accounting? I'd be looking at increasing my pay salary about 17% making up the cost of tuition in a few years.

More information please! We would never be able to figure out if anything will be "worth it" for you unless you give us specific details about your move (such as where you are moving to, etc.)

Why not go for a PhD? You get paid to do it and get a Master's in the process.

It is not required but most states require at least 150 hours to take the CPA.
