I'm sure I won't, and I certainly hope that to be the case.

This is it in a nutshell for me.

I skipped my tenth. In all honesty- I didn't know any of my friends who were going. I also didn't feel settled enough to march in and say here is where/who I am. I just skipped my twentieth because a very good friend was helping plan and had annoyed the ever loving sh** out of me. Also everyone was on a class Facebook page & half were equally annoying. After the fact I wish I had gone. The people who seemed like they would annoy before hand annoyed me after- how could I not come, did I not realize what it meant.... But when I saw the photos I was surprised at a couple of the people/faces I genuinely missed. And they were not ones I would have thought of before.

2 or 3 people reached out to me since the friend had RSVP'd for me and some people had expected to see me there. I think I just did not want to deal with either the desperation of some people needing validation or having to blow off people looking to pass judgment. I spoke to a classmate later and said I only realized after the fact that I wish I had gone.

Default Did you ever attend a class reunion?

Did you enjoy the reunion from high school or college? Were you surprised how your fellow classmates or schoolmates turned out? Would you attend another reunion?

I went to my 15 year high school reunion. I enjoyed it, but I wasn't particularly close with anyone I went to high school with. I remained in touch with one girl and she encouraged me to go, but if not for her, I probably wouldn't have. I'm glad I went though because I was quite afraid of the idea of attending a high school reunion so I'm glad I was able to face that fear. There were no surprises about how anyone turned out (especially with the existence of Facebook).

I don't know if I wasn't invited or if there was no 10 year reunion for my high school. However, I'm not on facebook.

Nope. I live on the other side of the country, and it would cost a fortune to go to a reunion. Also, I wasn't particularly close to any of my high school peers save one very handsome blond soccer player. I married him.

I went to my 30 year reunion and everyone knew me but I didn't know any of them. I spent about 30 boring mins there and then left. I will never go to another one.
