Looking for recommendations on computer class for adults (community college, computers, good)

Has anybody taken a basic computer class in Houston? I have a friend who needs basic hands on computer skills as well as MS Office lessons. Mostly word and excel. It would be nice to find a class that somebody took and can give feedback.

I have taken a few fun classes at Leisure Learning. I know they have computer classes but don't know how good they are.

Moving to education. There are many companies that teach this stuff. The basics can be learned at a library.

Colleges offer classes. Try into to computers or business computer applications.

Our library occasionally gives computer classes to adults and the local community college offers them every semester.
