but should they really be in school? They aren't going to compete in the corporate world.
You do not have to compete in the corporate world to be worthy of an education. Of course, they should be in school. Of course, disabled people are often able to compete (think Stephen Hawking or anyone else in a wheelchair who can compete). Think of the reporter Trump mocked, Serge Kovaleski who was awarded the 2009 Pulitzer Prize in the category of breaking news as part of the Metro team that covered the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal. He was a 2008 Pulitzer finalist in the category of breaking news along with other members of a Metro team for coverage of a Bronx fire that killed eight children and one adult in 2007, making it one of the deadliest residential fires in New York’s history. Mr. Kovaleski was one of the New York Times journalists awarded the 2015 Polk Award for Military Reporting for their investigation into U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six. Kovaleski has arthrogryposis, a congenital condition that involves contraction of the joints in his body and gives him a distinctive appearance.

seeing that president elect mocked your famed journalist and we as Americans said that is ok, I don't think his accomplishments matter much. which goes back to my point, why educate them? save the taxpayers some money.
While you are at it, shut down the Energy Department too. They have not pulled a single barrel of oil out of ground since incpetion. They have become a clearing house to dole out grant money. Exxon knows how to find oil on its own, thank you very much.
And someone saying something like that will eventually sit in a position to make it happen with local control.
