But the biggest laugh is you technically just need to pass because NO ONE EVER CHECKS YOUR GRADES !
So you stayed home to study and I went out to a night club and studied last minute all night.
You got an A+.... I got a C. We both passed and now the same degree !
And I might actually even be making more money then you or your boss lol!
Grades only matter to a certain extent.
Street smarts get your far !
Some of my teachers were really strict, by the books educators, while others were so lazy and uncaring that it was a wonder how anyone could fail their class. I had one teacher who let kids talk all they wanted during tests - of course, getting an A in her class was a snap.
Elementary school, I skipped a grade and was class valedictorian. There was maybe one science class where I wound up with something with less than an A at any point from K-8. High school, 13th in class in most competitive HS in the area with a 93ish average (would've been inflated in public schools thanks to taking honors and advanced placement courses--my friend graduated with a 103 average from a nearby public school, for example). With each passing year in high school, my effort declined, and by the time I got to college, I was 'burnt out' and never graduated with a GPA that was surely sub-2.0 by the time I decided I'd rather play poker and have panic attacks than go to class (the only exceptions being a select few philosophy classes that were the highlights of my week/year to attend).

Well, that depends on what you are going into and if you want to get into grad school or not and which one you would like to attend.
For some careers it matters, for others not so much.
I was a horrible student and consequently got bad grades. I hated every second of school and never did homework or studied. Somehow, I made honor roll one time, but that was a fluke.
After graduating, I found out how much I needed the skills I had not learned in school and had to scramble to learn things like math and English to enable me to get decent jobs. The strange part is, my career paths took me into areas where I needed those skills every day.
If I had it to do over, I would have applied myself much more that I did.
