Theater/drama; debate team; yearbook; newspaper; weightlifting team; early on - band, Future Farmers of America (not by choice); early on - boy scouts (just for a month or two I think); underground opposition to the student advisory board/student Senate or whatever we had; chess club for a semester, Oh the post above reminds me that I was on a bowling team, but I am not sure whether that was High school or Jr. High. I am probably forgetting somethings. I was pretty busy.
Track team captain, basketball team (manager), Chinese Cultural Club (I'm not Chinese), mock trial, national honor society, student body president, worked on several political campaigns -- this was high school.
In college, I was the student body vice president, served on several university committees, and led several other student organizations. I also held down two jobs.
Yearbook, newsletter, student council representative, audio-visual assistant, library assistant, DJ for a couple of school dances, computer programming lunch group (this was in 1962!).
Theater Arts club, school plays, literary magazine, cheerleading, 3 years, National Honor Society VP, 1 year, Art Club, Dance Team, student newspaper, contributing writer.
My parents would only let me have summer jobs during high school. Their philosophy was my job was to be a student.
College - Theater Arts, school plays, Big Sister program, (Big Brothers and Big Sisters) Golden Key National Honor Society,volunteer tutor, competitive dance team, undergrad teaching assistant, crew.
Yearbook, cheerleading, chorus (off site performances).
