I can relate to that because my dad was an engineer. I've discovered one thing--you're either an engineer or you're not. If you're not, nothing will ever make you one. That's not to say that non-engineers haven't been through the courses, or that engineer types have had the training--it's just a certain way of seeing the world. My dad said that you could tell the difference by whether they took stuff apart as kids, like old toasters and such. I decided you could tell the difference by whether one can pass a drafting class. You either see it or you don't. So, if any of you are thinking about being an engineer, take the engineer drawing class first. If you're hopelessly confused, do NOT go any further. Don't ask me how I know this!
