If I ever become rich enough and have plenty of time on my hands, I want to go back and a B.A. in History. It's always been my first love, and one I've self-taught since I was in elementary school. I enjoyed and was interested in my undergrad and grad school concentrations, but they also had practical career considerations as the primary mover. I'd go back to get a B.A. in History simply for the love and joy of it.

That sounds like a very good idea. I have always loved History, too. Are you interested in any particular type of history or any particular time period, e.g. women's history, the 19th century, history of warfare, etc. There are so much out there to study. According to experts, continuing to learn new things regularly helps to keep all of us healthier as we age.

Reason: removed off topic question.
After I decided to take a break from college after 2 years of electrical engineering I worked in electronics and computers since then taking courses I wanted at 3 different colleges.
I do not have a high opinion of the education business/racket.
The majority of books are mediocre to crap. A K-12 National Recommend Reading List would be really useful to the students. I would bet that the majority of educators would not like it.
Graduated in 1987 with 3.11 gpa. Joined the US Navy and entered the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program. It’s three separate schools. First school it to see if you’re really smart enough to be in the program. Second school is to put students under as much pressure as possible to see if they can handle the stress. Third school is a self pace program at a working nuclear power plant to see if you’re responsible and can work with little to know supervision. I dropped at the second school. Now work in a hospital boiler room working with boilers, generators, HVAC system, medical gas system, fire alarm system, elevators, and some general hospital repair.
