Straight memorization didn't work that well for me. If I write things down, they become more imprinted in my brain. As someone else mentioned, this about your own learning style. Some people can look at things, or just sort of repeat them in their mind, and they have it. I do better if I have written it down, even if I never go back and look at my notes again. It's the process of writing that does it for me.

I don't have any real serious advice, but geometry isn't like other math subjects. One could almost classify it as something other than mathematics, if so inclined.

My only advice would be to draw, draw, draw. Not on the computer, by hand, pencil and paper. Geometry is all about shapes. Put those shapes down on paper so you can visualize. Get where you can draw by hand a straight (reasonably) line, a right triangle, a square, a parallelogram, etc. I'm often surprised how poor people's drawing skills can be - I'm not talking about making portraits or landscapes; I'm talking about being able to make a triangle.

I googled geometry cheat sheets and this was the first thing that popped up:

Perhaps you can find other "cheat sheets" to use to help you as well.

For geometry, visualize concepts, practice step by step, use mnemonics, and explore online resources like Khan Academy. Study groups and consistent practice are effective for me.
