I've been thinking about it. Of course being a REAL CIA isn't like 007. But it's close. You travel, carry guns, get amazing policinized (made up that word) vehicles.
But I really don't know a lot about CIA agents..I do know that there are 4 different sections in the CIA..
I have applied with them to no avail. My take is that basically you apply and they cross examine your resume with available positions. After 30 days I believe you have to apply again. What field are you in? I am in the Science field.

Actually, you don't. At all.
I've long considered a career in the CIA's analytical sector. It's an office job like any other, except it might involve more travel and international assignments. And I wouldn't be carrying a gun or driving an armored car. This segment is the largest branch of the CIA.
Some of the clandestine services sector are spies or the kind of CIA agent shown on TV- but this is only a small portion of what the CIA does in general.

Well, I'm not necessarily in any field because I'm just starting college tomorrow. I haven't decided what I want to do but being a CIA has been a big issue I've been asking around and around for people who know a lot of information about it.
I imagine posting an interest in becoming a CIA agent on a public forum with many posters all over the country/world might be detrimental for your future CIA prospects. I would be "covert" with my intentions if I were you, especially if you really are serious about becoming a spy.

Yeah, no sh*t. The OP wants to work in the CIA, but yet cannot understand their own website, let alone find out information regarding the four sub-fields.
I get the sense that the OP just wants to carry a gun and travel for free.

There are recruitment meetings on college campuses all over the country with hundreds of students openly showing their intentions of CIA employment. I think posting anonymously on a message board is safe.

Didn't I say I don't know a lot about being a CIA? ..I just found out about the 4 fields so while you're going away busy at the fingers you need to first READ CLEARLY and then quote someone.
No disrespect but you could of kept that BULL to yourself Because you are/were no help in this situation.. ty.
