Speech Pathology ASHA question
I am renewing my ASHA certification after being a stay-at-home mom for
18 years. I kept my NC State License(smart move) but let my ASHA
C's expire(dumb move) I am trying to renew my ASHA by taking the Praxis,
getting 30 hours of professional development, paying fees, and having
a 12 week of supervised clinical fellowship period .
My questions are
1) If I need ASHA /CCC to apply and work how do I get the 12 week supervised period before working?? Will they hire me while I am renewing??
2) Taking the Praxis after this many years is making me nervous.
Does anyone know what percent of the questions I need to get correct to pass?? Any great study books to recommend??
3) What things qualify as professional development?? Would an online class or reading a book qualify??
