Post News, Cell phones welcome in some classrooms.

Cell phones have long been anathema in the classroom, banned as a potential distraction, at best, and as a possible vehicle for cheating, at worst. But lately, educators have begun changing their tune on mobile phones.

Interesting. I've had an issue with my son's school on this... because I NEED him to have his phone with him at all times because he has 2 younger siblings there in school with him that he is responsible for "collecting" after school and watching until they're all picked up. He doesn't use it during class, ever, but he's still been scolded for even having it on him.
