I can schedule appts. early morning and afternoons, thus not missing any school or work. I can make appts on school vacation days, evenings and saturdays. It isn't hard to do.

PErhaps the bigger question is how important some people feel an education is? It is important, but not enough so to skip that vacation for a week during the school year. There are scheduled weeks off, but it seems to always be more expensive to travel those weeks ( at least in maine ). I believe it says alot about priorities when someone takes off school for a vacation.

At one school a student was sent home because his Halloween costume was Jesus. The school principal says the costume was creating a disturbance. Probably was disturbing the communist among the faculty who hate religion.
