My husband got an MBA from Colorado State University using their distance learning program. We never set foot on campus. He also looked into programs at Fla. Atlantic, U Mass, University of Maryland, and a few others. He chose Colorado State because of cost and ease. Some schools like U of Fla. required you to be on campus a certain number of weekends.
Most major universities offer some kind of distance learning. It is a lot of work. You have to be disciplined enough to watch the DVD of class and do the work. In the end, it translated to a 20K raise for us. Good luck.

My neighbor has recently finished her PhD and is moving North so she can maintatin a quality of Life equal to her PhD.

Yes she can earn $60k in Florida and that is a good wage for those who need to work but overall it just stinks.....She was offered a job as a Principal in Michigan and she will begin at $115k. She has more than $130k in tuition debt and she is moving wihin a month.....One more thing her entire Grad and PhD degrees were achieved through OnLine programs.....
How can a family pay $130,000 with an income of $60,000? You cannot.

I believe she will do well because she is motivated, a good listener and is a no-nonsense person......

kerensa is on a distinguished road
Penn State has an online degree program in many areas, and the degree will not list "online" anywhere. They are a fairly well respected (although not Ivy by any means) school.
