The other day I tryed to register for a site I always use. I could not complete my registration because I got a page that says SERVER ERROR IN '/ APPLICATION.I don't know what to do. Already tryed the microsoft site . It did not help, since I don't even know the computer language.I want to visit that site again and do not have access to it, every time I hite enter all I get is that error page talking about configuration.
Can anyone outhere help me? Please use very simple language,or else I won't be able to understand. I need to be guided from the start point.
Thank you all in advance.

Just so I understand - you went to their site and tried to register on their site..correct? And you have been there before and registered successfully? If so, it may have nothing to do with your computer, but with their server.

agreed. sounds like they have a problem on their end

i would suggest emailing the website to inform them of the error and give them the error message that you are receiving.

SERVER ERROR IN '/ APPLICATION
First, did you try using a different browser?

I know that I use Firefox as my primary browser but there are a few sites that are coded only for IE and have given me that error. And since not everyone can use IE, that's a really dumb move on their part. (BellSouth was the latest offender, and was on the Mac at the time. IE no longer comes in Mac flavors)

Second, what the other said is true. There is an extremely good chance it was not you but them and their server.

Emailing the contact (webmaster) should help. Just be patient, not everyone is on their computer 24/7. A couple of days, esp if a weekend is involved, should be plenty. Liz

It's nothing you did wrong. Just wait a couple of days and I bet it'll work. Probably something wrong on the server end. If you want, contact the webmaster/adminstrator, or the school, and let them know the problem.
