The Galveston County Daily News (http://www.galvnews.com/story.lasso?ewcd=09d6b6ece4ddb7b7 - broken link)
What was supposed to be a motivation speech to a collection of sixth- through eighth-grade girls at Crosby Middle School instead turned into an explicit sex talk, including descriptions on how to perform oral and anal sex, Hitchcock school officials said.
when Price was introduced, she asked that the school’s principal leave the room. Most of the teachers remained, but they did not step in when Price’s speech turned inappropriate, Bergman said.
The speech reportedly turned graphic and included instructions on how to perform oral and anal sex and included several curse words, Bergman said.

Students apparently were told to keep the contents of the speech secret, Bergman said.

The principal is a dummy for complying to the request to leave the room. The adults (teachers) present showed they had zero balls to confront the "speaker".

Yup, that's pretty revolting.

I disagree with the change to require the principal attend all presentations, but the faculty who remained... just wow. I suppose that so long as none even slightly budged, nobody else would take the chance, but still!

Poor students - and what was that woman thinking?

How are these people involved with education? How is taxpayer money paying these folks $100K+ salaries?

Incredible...

I'm guessing the people won't be re-electing the speaker to the school board.

Which "folks" are making $100K+? I doubt any except for maybe the principal. Surely the school board member doesn't.

I can't imagine what this school board member was thinking. It really makes no sense. But I can understand nobody interrupting, after all this is their boss and the article says the presentation was supposedly approved.

When, instead of blowing hot air with some psycho-babble hoo-ha, they actually teach them some useful skills that can be used to great advantage, people complain.

No wonder the education system, and society in general is in decline.

She's lucky my child wasn't in the audience.
I think these parents should press charges.

I'd be curious to know if the informative instructions came about because the speaker opened up the floor to questions. If it was in answer to students' questions, then it is a little more acceptable.
